Walk the ridge lines of the Catskills and feel like you’re standing at the edge of the world. With epic views and incredible heights, you’ll see why it’s one of our most popular hikes!

Perhaps one of the Catskills’ most unique geological features are the stunning cliffs and ledges over the valleys and forests below. Few things can rival the feeling of moving out to the edge and having a view that spans multiple states – and several hundred feet down! Throughout the hike, we’ll be venturing to multiple vistas that’ll take your breath away – and invigorate your soul. And – you’ll get to take home incredible picture memories from some of our favorite photo opportunities in the Catskills.
Your Licensed Guide, Brian, will reach out prior to the hike to let you know what to expect and answer any questions you might have about your hike, what to wear, or what to bring.
Hike Overview
After meeting at the rendezvous point before the hike, we’ll proceed to the trailhead and begin a quick introduction and gear check before taking to the trails. Along the way, we’ll stop to learn about the different rock formations, plant types, the history of the area and more. Throughout the trip, we’ll be getting tons of candid and action shots, as well as some epic posed shots at some of my favorite views in the Catskill Mountains.
Half day hikes typically lean between easy and moderate difficulty, with some optional ‘challenges’ along the way – if you’re up for it! Over the years we’ve really finessed how we tune our hikes to the different hikers we have everyday – and will adjust the route and pace to the best fit for you and your group. With a maximum group size of 6 and an average of 3-4 per trip, we’ll have plenty of opportunities to work with you individually on your skills and techniques if needed!
